Justin D. Bruening, DVM

Veterinarian, Owner

Dr. Bruening grew up in Huntsville, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University and received his DVM in May 2002. He joined Seguin Animal Hospital in June 2011 as an associate, then in December 2011, he and his wife Carrie purchased the hospital. They have 2 kids, a boy and a girl. Their 4 legged family consists of 2 dogs named Brownie and Bear; 5 cats named Buttons, Cricket, Romeo, Fuzzy and Doe; and a horse named Buck. When Dr. Bruening has free time, he enjoys team roping, exercising, and running!

Bridget M. Feldhaus, DVM


Dr. Feldhaus was born in Washington State where she lived for 8 years before moving to Texas. She attended Angelo State University and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and a double minor in Animal Science and Chemistry. Dr. Feldhaus received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in May 2012 then joined our team shortly after in June 2012. Dr. Feldhaus has horses and cats. She loves to ride horses, travel and see the mountains.

Dr. Deb Cunningham

Debra Cunningham, DVM


Dr. Deb Cunningham started her third career in a mixed animal practice after graduating from Texas A&M in 1992 with her DVM degree. She earned two BS degrees, one from SWTSU in mathematics with a double minor in biology and chemistry, and another BS in biomedical sciences from TAMU. Previously, she worked for Texas Instruments in Austin and then joined her husband Jim, working for several newspapers in Wyoming, Texas and New Mexico. In 1994, Dr. C started her own veterinary clinic in Missouri City, Tx where she practiced small animal and exotic medicine for 19 years. She served as a member of the Missouri City Animal Control Advisory Board from 2010 to 2014 during which time a new animal control facility was built. Dr. C was twice awarded Best Veterinarian/Best Veterinary Hospital in Fort Bend County/Sugar Land area by readers of the Fort Bend Sun. After selling her practice, she joined Seguin Animal Hospital in January of 2015.

Dr. C is passionate about providing excellent care for dogs, cats and pocket pets. This commitment is reflected by her membership in the Texas Academy of Veterinary Practice. The TAVP “promotes high standards of veterinary medicine through continuing education.” Only 1 in 30 Texas veterinarians is a member of this elite group. Dr. C is also a member of the Pet Professional Guild, an association for force-free pet professionals, which promotes pet well being. She is proud of having earned the Low Stress Handling University’s Silver Certification through a program developed by Dr. Sophia Yin to promote a trusting relationship between the pet and the vet and other human type animals. Dr. C enjoys working with pet owners to find the best way to care for their companions and promote a happy and healthy relationship. Preventive medicine is central to her philosophy. She enjoys the diagnostic challenges of internal medicine. Behavior medicine, dentistry, surgery and multimodal pain management strategies (especially for the senior and geriatric critters) form a core part of her practice.

Dr. C is also a lifetime member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and belongs to the American Veterinary Medical Association, AVSAB (Animal Behavior), IVIS (International Veterinary Information Service), EAA and AOPA.

Hobbies include fishing, motorcycling, flying, skiiing, running, plinking, and reading. Three Border Collies (Pandemonium, Fancy Free and Sassy) ride herd while the Boston Terrier PeePee La Phew bosses the crew around. Rowdy, the Lhasa apso, just chills. Three cats and a donkey also reside at “Grin Acres,” her home near Moulton.


Leslie Moczygemba, DVM


Dr. Leslie Moczygemba made her career choice when she was in high school while raising farm animals in her FFA chapter. She loved learning about the individual animals and providing for all of their needs. After graduating high school in San Antonio, Dr. Moczygemba attended Angelo State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 1999.  She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University in 2004. Upon graduation, Dr. Moczygemba practiced in a progressive mixed animal practice in Bay City, TX until 2014. Her professional interests include internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.  She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Moczygemba has also served on many boards in her community such as the American Red Cross, the Fair & Rodeo Association, the Junior League and is an active member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and serves as a youth minister. “I enjoy teaching my clients about their pet’s health care needs and seeing to those needs with the upmost care and compassion.” Dr. Moczygemba married her high school sweetheart, Bret and together they have three beautiful children Hannah, Luke and Benjamin. When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Moczygemba enjoys cooking, home renovation, running, crafts and serving her community and her church.


Tiffany K. MS, BS

Practice Manager

Having grown up in Marion, Texas, Tiffany knows a little bit about the Seguin area. In 2004, Tiffany graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. She joined our team as veterinary technician in January 2005. While working part time she pursued a Master of Science in Biology graduating from Texas State University in San Marcos in 2007. In August 2012, she became our full time Clinical Research Coordinator. Then in August 2015, Tiffany was promoted to Practice Manager and is the person behind our website, Facebook, Pinterest, and Google+ accounts. She has a husband and two adorable children, along with 2 Australian Cattle Dogs named Cowgirl and Sparkle. In her spare time, she loves spending time with family, hunting, fishing, scrapbooking, crocheting, sewing, and most other crafts!


Office Manager/Inventory Manager

Melissa grew up in Clear Lake, Texas and is a 2003 graduate of Clear Creek high school in Houston, Texas. Melissa joined our practice in December 2012 as a Veterinarian Technician. She then took on Inventory Manager in 2015. Melissa was promoted to Office Manager in September 2017. She is happily married and has 2 beautiful children. Melissa also has 2 cats named Pheobe and Boudreaux and a dog named Frankie. In her spare time she enjoys anything involving the outdoors including gardening, fishing, horseback riding, and going to the river!


Clinical Research Coordinator
Coming from San Antonio, Texas, Jessica joined our team in April 2014 as a kennel technician. She attended Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas and graduated with a degree in Biology in 2015. After graduation, Jessica became our full time Clinical Research Coordinator. She has four dogs named Bella, Junebug, Jax, and Luna.

Tiffany D.

Part Time Office Assistant

Tiffany is from Falls City, Texas. She joined our team in September 2016. She is attending Texas Lutheran University and is a member of the lady’s basketball team. She has three dogs name Buster, Tigger, and Toby. She is also a pig breeder. In her free time she enjoys any sport, crafting, hanging with friends, outdoor activities, and hunting.


Lead Veterinary Technician

Annie grew up in McQueeney, Texas. She originally joined our team as a technician assistant and kennel technician back in June of 2014, she then went on to work for the Emergency Pet Clinic in New Braunfels. After graduating from TLU with a Bachelor’s of Science in Molecular Biology, she rejoined us as a veterinary technician in May of 2017. In September of 2017, Annie was promoted to Lead Veterinarian Technician. Annie has a tuxedo cat named Jinx, who is extremely sassy and thinks he is a panther! She enjoys wakeboarding, yoga, running, hiking, fishing, longboarding, coffee, aliens, history, and cats! Annie is hoping to attend vet school next year and continue focusing on rural/small town medicine.


Veterinary Technician

Tracy is from Kingsbury, Texas. After working with the Seguin Humane Society for 4 ½ years, Tracy joined our team in August 2012. Tracy is married and has two boys. She likes to bake and collect salt and pepper shakers and cookbooks. Her four legged family consists of a corgi named Zoey and a mutt named Jimmy. An interesting fact about Tracy is that she used to be certified to do nails and save lives (EMT II)!


Veterinary Technician

Kaleigh grew up in Uvalde, Texas. She joined our team in September 2014. She is married, has two kids and one on the way! She also has two dogs named Lucy and Holly. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, bowling and barbecuing.

Lisa is from San Antonio, Texas. She has eight dogs and eight cats! Her dogs’ names are Biscuit, Lola, Chulo, Foster, Daisy Duke, Stacy, Layla, and Duchess. Her cats’ names are Booger, KJ, MJ, Lucifer, Tortie, TZ, Notch, and Petra. She has been with us since May of 2016. In her free time she enjoys anything outdoors and sleeping!


Veterinary Technician

Elizabeth is from Seguin, Texas. She is newer to our team having joined us in January 2017. She is married and has 4 successful children: Pediatric Dentistry, Adult Dentistry, Banking, and Master Sargent in the Air Force. She also has numerous beautiful grandchildren. She has numerous pets consisting of dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and geese! In her free time she enjoys hunting, saltwater fishing, and loves English Bulldogs.

Brittney grew up in Orange County, California. She is a newer team member having joined us in February 2017. She has two horses name P.I. and Raleigh and a dog named Missy. She grew up riding hunter-jumpers and transitioned to barrel racing while she was in college. In her spare time she loves horseback riding and barrel racing.

Cierra is from Llano, Texas and is currently attending Texas Lutheran University. She will be graduating in May 2017. She joined our team in November of 2015. Her best friend is her Great Dane named Kyla. Cierra loves the outdoors, working out, and anything sporty!



Ruby is from San Antonio, Texas and joined our team in November 2014. She is married and has a stepson. Ruby also has a cat named Ricky Ricardo and a dog named Lucy. She likes to spend her free time with her family.



Cindy grew up south of San Antonio, Texas. She joined our team in October 2015. She has a beautiful daughter, 8 horses and 5 dogs! Cindy is outgoing and fun! She likes to make people laugh and loves being around animals, especially her horses! She is an outdoor person and loves going to rodeos, barrel races, and ropings. Cindy also enjoys spending time with family!


Part Time Receptionist

Rick grew up in the Gateway City to the Rio Grande Valley, Raymondville. Rick became part of our team in September of 2016. He is happily married and has 3 daughters, 1 granddaughter, and 5 grandsons! Rick also has 1 Schnauzer, 1 Goldfish and 40 Koi! He and his wife have traveled to Ireland and England. In his spare time he enjoys woodworking, refinishing antiques, gardening, oil painting and wondering around antique stores!


Part time Technician Assistant/Kennel Technician

Amber grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is currently attending Palo Alto Veterinary Technician program. Amber became part of our team in April of 2016. She has three dogs, five horses, eight goats, two macaws, cows and lots of chickens! In her free time, Amber enjoys being outside working on her farm and playing with her animals!


Kennel Technician

Zelen grew up here in Guadalupe County. She joined our team in February of 2015. Zelen has two dogs named PJ and Izzy and two cats named Cox and Hissy Fit. When she is not working she is helping take care of the elderly, listening to music, watching movies and TV, playing with her pets, organizing, reading books or hanging with friends.
